Catching up with Amaris Little throughout her senior year.

Hello, my name is Amaris little and I’m going to be sharing my first experience of my senior year of high school. My first day of my senior year was very confusing because on my schedule sheet did not have my homeroom class on the paper. Therefore, I just looked at the bored the wall with the last names that match the class thinking I was going to find my homeroom, but I end up in an all junior classroom. I had gone downstairs to find a teacher and they helped me and gave me my homeroom classroom, but I didn’t know where to go. I walked around the whole school looking for my class. I felt bad because I been here 3 years and still don’t fully know the school. After five minutes I found the class and it was my old teacher Ms. Jones from my sophomore year. She was so excited to see me as much as I was to see her, because I enjoyed her English class. It felt like my sophomore year all over again because I sat in the same spot as I was again. It was a good 5-minute feeling but then it was time to go to my main class, which was American History, it was very loud in that room because a lot of people knew each other. I didn’t like it and already, I felt like it was going to be a hard class because I couldn’t focus, and he was asking hard questions nobody knew the answer to. The teacher was asking questions like “who the president in Spain is?”, “which forest got burned down?”, and “how many people that doesn’t have a job?”. I didn’t know anything about it because I don’t watch the news, but I wasn’t alone because nobody else didn’t know either. But the rest of my classes were easy because the teachers just did nothing but hand papers and talk. The great part about it was I got a call in my 4th block to go to the office to get my classes changed. They changed my first block to dance and kept the rest of my classes with them changing my first block has made year so much easier. The great part is all my classes are so close together which makes it better because I don’t have to run around the school or up and down the halls. There all easy to get to on time even with a whole crowd in the halls. The great thing about all my classes is that I still have all my friends from freshman year and we all help each other with each assignment so the classes go by fast because we get done fast. I feel like my semester is going to be great because I haven’t been in no trouble or having no bad grades. So far, all my classes are easy to manage with less work and support from others. Therefore I will be giving you guys an monthly update on how my senior year is going.
