New Faces at EGHS

There are 14 new staff members at Eastern Guilford High School this year. The Paw Print caught up with Mr.Pycraft, Ms.Carter, and Ms.Page recently.

Mr. Pycraft

Position: Math teacher/ football coach

1. How long have you taught/ worked in your area?

13 years.

2. Why did you choose Eastern Guilford?

Because his best buddy Aguilar wanted him to be a football coach.

3. Where else have you worked/taught?

Cummings High school

4. Where did you go to college?

Baldwin Wallace

5. Where are you from originally?

Ohio

6. What are your teaching goals?

All my students to do good in class/EOC

7. How would you describe Eastern Guilford?

From my first week I can tell that me coworkers are nice and friendly and the kids are kids.

8. If you had a choice, what other job would you like to do?

Work at a golf course/cut there grass.

9. How would you describe your teaching style?

Collaborative

10. Why did you choose the subject/ area you work/ teach in?

Math was the only thing I’m good at.

Position: CTE

19 years but I been teaching for 11

2. Why did you choose Eastern Guilford?

She wanted to transfer at eastern Guildford

3. Where else have you worked/taught?

Swann middle school, eastern Guilford high

4. Where did you go to college?

North Carolina a&t, Appalachian state

5. Where are you from originally?

Greensboro

6. What are your teaching goals?

All her kids certified to Microsoft word

7. How would you describe Eastern Guilford?

She like it and they care about there education and a

better a population

8. If you had a choice, what other job would you like to

do?

Optician

Her teaching style changes and she want to adapt

different one

teach in?

She taught math at first, but her friend told her to do

business instead of math and she said math got

boring because you just change numbers

Position: Career development coord.

1.How long have you taught/worked in your area?

I taught 8 years at eastern Guilford high I teach CDC which stands for career devilment coordinator and SPC which stands for special population coordinator

2.Why did you choose Eastern Guilford?

Because eastern is a family orated school that treat people like family

3.Where else have you worked/taught?

I worked at Eastern middle school and river side high in Durham

4.Where did you go to college?

North Carolina A&T

5.Where are you from originally?

State fill North Carolina

6.What are your teaching goals?

To build a good relationship with students to help them find their career, CDU, and job.

7.How would you describe Eastern Guilford?

Eastern is a family orated school who treats everybody like family

8.If you had a choice, what other job would you like to do?

I would want to become an author and a writer. but I also want to write my own book

Firm but loving

Because I’m a hands-on person I like to solve puzzles and put things together
