Season #74 underway in NBA

By Dylan Spencer

The Golden State Warriors have been to the finals five straight years and won three out of those five years. Last year they lost to Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors.

This year is an absolute turn around for the Warriors. They are 2-9 as of Wednesday, but they did lose one of the best pure scorers to ever play the game in Kevin Durant, who decided to go to the Brooklyn Nets with former Boston Celtic Kyrie Irving. Also two of the Warriors’ top players, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, are injured.

This year Lebron James and Anthony Davis are carrying the Los Angeles Lakers with an 8-2 record this year. They are arguably the best team in the league.

The Los Angeles Clippers this year got Leonard and Paul George and they have a record of 7-3. The two Los Angeles teams, who play in the same building, the Lakers and Clippers are a rivalry this season with Leonard vs James.

In the Eastern Conference we have the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Bucks and the 76ers are both 7-3. These two teams will end up in the Eastern Conference Finals this season. The Toronto Raptors are also 7-3 so they might also have a big shot at making in far this season.

This season should be very interesting, it has been many changes to many teams. Let’s see how this season goes.
