Where do you see yourself in the future?

Layla and Sierra went around school and asked 2 juniors and 2 seniors are they college ready.

We went around Eastern Guilford High School and interviewed 4 students. The four students; Kamell Smith, D’ziah Enoch, Austin Stallings, and Asanti Neal-Platt. Information was gathered data about if the students have given a thought to their own future. They have thought of college but are not sure of what they might go into when they go into college

Kamell and D’ziah are graduates of 2021. Austin and Asanti are graduates of 2020. Even though they are in different grades they all said they were ready to graduate. When asked about college they also all said they’re ready to be college students. Considering that all four of them are juniors/seniors and have yet to take the sat or act is very concerning. In order for all them to get into the college they need to be informed with taking the sat and act.

The seniors already know what major they want to go in to but the juniors have not thought that far ahead to their future which might be concerning. They should at least have a couple ideas of what they like to do.
